Joshua R. Kon Esq.

A partner and shareholder at the firm, Mr. Kon is also an aggressive litigator whose practice focuses on complex commercial and real estate litigation, lender liability, partnership disputes, professional malpractice, and appellate law. Prior to graduating summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University School of Law, Mr. Kon owned and managed a successful small business with locations in Miami and New York. Now Mr. Kon is conscientiously charged at every stage of his clients' lawsuits, from drafting complaints to taking depositions to prosecuting trials and enforcing judgments.  Mr. Kon also handles numerous appeals, including one currently before the US Supreme Court.

 

Although born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Mr. Kon moved to Miami almost ten years ago after marrying a Miami native, who does not want to be named but who has blessed him with three young children, Yehuda, Adina and Sara Belle.  Since moving to Miami, Mr. Kon's professional accomplishments include substantial judgments and settlements for his clients, as well as numerous transactional matters drafted and negotiated to completion.  Known for coming up with unique solutions to his client's complicated problems in his professional life, Mr. Kon is also heavily involved with his community, from representing not-for-profit organizations pro-bono to assisting charities obtaining much needed funds so that they can continue their good works.
