Tuvia’s Bio


Tuvia is a partner in the firm’s litigation department. He specializes in representing clients in bankruptcy litigation and restructuring, including representing creditors and debtors in adversary proceedings as well as advising clients on chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. Mr. Sandler’s practice covers a wide range of commercial litigation cases as well, representing clients in complex matters in federal and state courts in all matters of business disputes. Tuvia also serves as a director on the board of directors of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida.

Prior to joining Stok Kon + Braverman, Mr. Sandler worked at White & Case representing financial institutions and large companies in chapter 11 proceedings. His experience includes high-profile debtor representations such as The Hertz Corporation and Boy Scouts of America, as well as representing creditors in retail, oil and gas, and municipal restructurings, along with many other creditors’ rights matters.

Tuvia studied Talmudic law in Yeshivas in the U.S. and Israel before attending law school at the University of Miami where he graduated with honors. In his free time, Mr. Sandler continues to dedicate time to Talmud study and takes an active role in his synagogue. Tuvia also enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and loves to hit the links when he can.
